What this app does
PartPerfect is a music practice tool that plays multi-track audio stems and lets you adjust the mix. It downloads audio files from a Google Drive folder shared by your music provider and stores them on your device.
Data we collect
We collect absolutely no personal information. Because we collect no personal data, you are not required to submit data deletion or export requests under privacy laws like GDPR or CCPA — your privacy is guaranteed by design. Specifically:
- No account registration or login is required
- No name, email address, or contact details are collected
- No microphone or camera access is used
- No location data is accessed
- No usage analytics or crash reporting is sent to us
Device permissions and local storage
The app requires basic network permissions to connect to Google Drive, and local storage access to save the downloaded audio files (MP3 stems) and your custom mix presets (e.g., fader positions).
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Data deletion
Because we do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers, there is no user account or personal data for us to delete upon request. You can permanently delete all app data at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
Google Drive
The app fetches a list of audio files and downloads them from a Google Drive folder. This uses the Google Drive API with a restricted API key. You do not log in to Google, and the app does not access your Google account or any personal Google Drive files — only the specific shared folder provided by your music provider.
Google's servers will receive your device's IP address as part of these API requests, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Third parties
The app does not include any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. No data is sold to or shared with any third party.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app does not transmit any personal data over the internet to us, it is impossible for a child to share personal information through our app.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
